FRUGAL FILM PROJECTS

Where frugality inspires creativity

ABOUT

Very few of us will ever make a major studio blockbuster film that grosses a billion dollars worldwide and that is fine.  The art of filmmaking is for everyone.  Anyone with imagination, motivation and some equipment can make a film.  The reason Frugal Film Projects exists is to bring together screenwriters, cinematographers, editors, sound engineers, lighting directors, makeup artists, storyboard artists, production assistants, actors and actresses, from all walks of life,  to work together in the greatest of all collaborative arts and make no budget films.

There is no requirement for joining Frugal Film Projects.  Everyone from experienced filmmakers to raw beginners are welcome.  If you have the energy and motivation to get involved in the filmmaking process,  you are invited to join Frugal Film Projects.  The goal is for frugal screenwriters to take their scripts for no budget films and turn them into films with like-minded frugal filmmakers, i.e., cinematographers, directors, editors, sound engineers, lighting directors, makeup artists, storyboard artists, production assistants, actors and actresses.

We also invite anyone to submit blog entries related to the subject of no budget films for publication on our site.  If you have an interesting story to share or some insight into the world of no budget filmmaking, or would like to promote a project of yours, we would be interested in publishing your blog entry.  Please feel free to submit your blog entry today.  In order to submit a blog post simply go to the Register page and register, then go to our Guest Submission page and submit your blog/vlog post.

If you feel like this is for you, please feel free to browse around our website exploring all the different ways an individual can become involved in making a frugal film.  At the bottom of every page is an Interest Form to submit.
